相較一般「傳統」的綜合擴大機,NAD C 379的背板就很有未來感,除了兩組高電平類比輸入、一組對應MM唱頭的Phono輸入、兩組前級音訊輸出、兩組超低音信號輸出之外,本機還有同軸及Toslink光纖數位輸入各兩組,甚至還有一組對應eARC的HDMI端子,用來連接智慧型電視就可對應Dolby Atmos或DTS:X等新世代物件導向音效。此外,C 379搭配藍牙無線輸入,因此也能用智慧型手機輕鬆無線傳輸播放音樂並操控。
NAD C 379背板左側有兩個MDC模組擴充插槽,首先最建議的是可選購MDC2 BluOS-D模組,就能升級BluOS 串流機能和Dirac Live空間校正。相較先前的MDC BluOS2i模組,新一代的MDC2 BluOS-D模組具備更高運算效率的新處理器,亦內建Dirac Live聆聽空間聲學校正機能(隨附校正用USB連接器與測試麥克風,Dirac Live量測校正程式提供免費下載)。上圖插在C389上方MDC模組插槽的,就是NAD最新一代的MDC2 BluOS-D擴充模組,其背板有乙太網路連接埠與USB埠,兩個天線端子分別對應藍牙與WiFi無線連結,另外還有一個作為維修連接的Micro USB端子。
